Service features / What to consider

Common settings for cross-border access

Start with your use case, then choose a route and data plan. VPNAmp brings the app, international routes and account usage into one workflow. If something goes wrong, check your connection, app and billing separately.

Choosing routes and checking connections at peak times

To see how a connection performs during peak hours, test it on your usual network and in the apps you actually use. First make sure your local connection is working, then choose a destination in the panel and check page loads, video buffering and connection stability. If you run into lag, compare another route in the same region rather than switching regions repeatedly. VPNAmp offers 160+ routes across 100+ countries, making it easier to choose by destination. Your experience still depends on your local network, time of day and the service you're accessing; a single test is not a guarantee of ongoing speeds.

Compare international routes by region

Start with the region where the website or app you want to use is available, then check how it works in practice. A nearby location can be a useful first filter, but the region name alone doesn't determine speed; your local network, the destination service and time of day all matter. The table below highlights popular locations. Cities, route types and available options are shown in the user panel and may change; examples here are not promises of fixed data centers or dedicated lines.

Build a repeatable way to choose routes

When testing, keep your device, app and local network the same and change only the route. That makes it easier to see what caused any difference. If you change both the route and local network, even a successful connection won't tell you why it worked. Once you find a route that suits your usual apps, keep other options in the same region for comparison. If something goes wrong, check your subscription and usage status in the panel before updating the app configuration.

Tell route issues apart from app issues

If regular websites work but a particular app doesn't, first check whether it uses your system network settings and whether the service shows an account or region notice. If nothing works, check the app's connection permissions, local network and subscription update status. When contacting support, include the region, device platform, error message and what you were doing; that makes it easier to investigate than simply saying “it won't connect.”

Route status reference

This is a route reference, not an end-to-end speed test from your device to a destination website. Check the user panel for currently available routes and connection details.

Plan preview / Choose by usage

Monthly plans and permanent data plans

If you use the service regularly and want to manage your usage monthly, explore a monthly plan. If your usage is irregular and you'd rather use data as needed, consider a data plan. Choose based on your account's overall usage, not the number of devices. VPNAmp has no device limit, so include background syncing, video streaming and file transfers across all devices in your data budget. Getting the app and paying for route access are separate steps; downloading the app does not include plan data.

Monthly plan · 60 GB

¥9.9/month

A good starting point for users assessing everyday light use, such as browsing and looking up information. If you regularly stream video or transfer files, check your usage in the panel to see whether another tier would suit you better.

Monthly plan · 250 GB

¥18/month

For users who want to manage research, work apps and entertainment through one account. Review your past usage before choosing rather than estimating based only on connection time.

  • 250 GB per month
  • Unlimited devices connected at once
  • 60-day no-questions-asked refund

Monthly plan · 500 GB

¥28/month

For frequent users of international services with higher data needs. The larger allowance gives you more data to use; it does not change route speeds or eligibility to access a destination service.

Monthly data resets, upgrades and data plans

Monthly plan data resets each month on the date you activated the plan, not on the first of the calendar month. When checking your remaining data, check your reset date too so you don't confuse the start of a calendar month with your billing cycle. If you upgrade mid-cycle, the price difference is prorated by the remaining days. Confirm the order details in the panel before proceeding. Moving to a higher tier changes your data allowance, not any other benefits not listed here.

Data plans remain available until used and never expire: ¥158/300 GB, ¥358/1000 GB, ¥658/3000 GB. If your usage is irregular, compare the monthly plan reset schedule with how data plans are consumed, then choose based on your needs. “Never expire” refers to the validity period of the data, not a guarantee of ongoing speeds, content access or destination website rules.

Pay with Alipay, WeChat Pay or USDT. When reviewing an order, check the selected plan, payment amount and order status. After payment, return to the panel to confirm the result. If the payment status doesn't match the plan shown, keep your order details and contact support through a ticket instead of creating the same order again.

FAQ / Before you get started

Accounts, apps and refunds

Check your account credentials, app download page and plan terms before importing your subscription. This section covers common questions; for detailed connection troubleshooting, see the troubleshooting guide.

Do I need an email address to create an account?

No email address is required. Create an account with a username and password. Keep your credentials safe and avoid sharing subscription details in public. Get apps, view plans and submit support tickets through the user panel. When using the panel on a shared device, sign out afterward and don't let the browser keep a session that someone else could access.

Where can I get the app, and can I connect as soon as it's downloaded?

Go to the app page in the user panel. Sign in to download apps for Windows, macOS, Android and Linux; availability for iOS is handled through the panel. The app is a connection tool; paid route access and data come with a plan. After installing, follow the guide to get your subscription, import it and verify the connection. Installing the app alone doesn't mean your network traffic is using the selected route.

Is there a limit on how many devices can connect at once?

There's no device limit. Windows, macOS, iOS, Android and Linux are supported. Set up the app on each device separately and keep an eye on your account's total data usage. If one device has an issue, check its connection permissions, network settings and background activity first. If other devices work, there's no need to delete and rebuild every configuration.

What's the difference between monthly plans and data plans, and how can I pay?

Monthly plan data resets each month on your activation date; data plans stay valid until used and never expire. Monthly plans: ¥9.9/month for 60 GB, ¥18/month for 250 GB, or ¥28/month for 500 GB. Data plans: ¥158/300 GB, ¥358/1000 GB, or ¥658/3000 GB. Pay with Alipay, WeChat Pay or USDT. Choose based on how often you use the service and how much data you need; confirm the order details in the panel.

How do refunds work, and what information should I include when reporting a connection issue?

VPNAmp offers a 60-day no-questions-asked refund; see the terms of service for details. Submit a ticket through the user panel with your order details and request. For connection issues, include your device platform, current region, error message, what you were doing and the steps you've already tried. Hide passwords and subscription details in screenshots. If a website shows an account or region notice, include its exact wording so support can distinguish route issues from platform rules.

Articles / How to choose and use

VPN recommendations and setup guides

Guides based on real use cases are more helpful than plan specs alone. Streaming articles explain regional availability and playback requirements, networking guides help with budgeting, and app tutorials walk through installation, subscription import and connection checks. These scenarios don't replace current route details in the panel or guarantee access to any destination platform's content.
